Job-Specific Orientation Plan

Prepare a three-to four-page job-specific orientation plan for a job with which you are familiar. Include the following:

  • A detailed list of items covered in the plan. Identify which handouts, reference documents, and other supporting material will be required for the orientation.
  • Prepare an overview and list of instructions for the new employees’ mentor.
  • Pick one of the learning objectives and describe how you will train the person to learn the news skills or behavior.

Aspects of Latino Distinctiveness: Family Structure

Take one aspect typical of Latino populations as described in any of the assigned readings in this unit or in the interview of Dr. Espin, such as family structure, language, aspects of gender, or class structure, and respond to the following:

  • Describe the challenges this feature might present for clients living in contemporary North America.
  • How might this same feature also serve as a source of resilience?
  • Select any psychological service consistent with your program specialization, and comment on how this aspect might affect providing that psychological service to Latino clients.

Research Methods In Principles Of Marketing Discussions

A bank manager notices that by the time customers get to the teller, they seem irritated and impatient. She wants to investigate the problem further. So, she hires you to design a research project to figure out what is bothering the customers. Your task is to design two studies: one qualitative and one quantitative.

1. Describe the two studies that you will suggest to the manager. Don’t forget the following important information in the description: type of research, data to be collected, how to collect them, etc.

2. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each studies. Don’t forget to provide arguments to support your thoughts.
