These effects can be the desired effects and they should include some of the sideeffects (which are usually unwanted). You will probably want to address the short termeffects separately from the long term effects as well. Also, if you want to includewithdrawal symptoms, that is fine. Just make sure you explain what is occurringbiologically to cause those symptoms to occur.Be specific with the drug that you choose. Don’t pick an entire class of drugs to writeabout, as you will usually not get into enough detail.If the drug you choose is used as a treatment for a disorder (or a drug that may lead to adisorder), you can include something that explains why that drug is useful for thatdisorder. Don’t turn the paper into a paper about a disorder, but you can includeinformation to fully explain the link between the drug and the disorders it maytreat/create.The end product should be no less than 4 pages in text length and no more than 8 pages,double spaced, in 12 pt font (times new roman or something similar). At the top of yourpaper, put your name and the name of the disorder you wrote about. Other than that, justhave text for your writing (no pictures or charts).For sources, you can use scientific articles or websites. However, your paper should have,at minimum, five sources, two of which are scientific articles. Please cite your articlesinternally and on a works cited page in APA format.This paper is worth 75 points of your class grade.
